AS is a 7-piece
soul, funk & disco covers band from London, available for corporate
events, parties & weddings. All the musicians are highly-skilled
professionals. Between
them have toured the world with different groups, appeared on TV
with various artists (e.g. TOTP, Pepsi Chart Show, CD:UK, Later with
Jools Holland & Richard & Judy) & worked in the studio, on TV & on
concert tours with the Glenn Miller Memorial Orchestra, Enrique
Inglesias, Shakira, The Wedding Present, Cinerama, Jesus & Mary
Chain, My Life Story, Geno Washington & West End Show, Dancing in
the Streets. Credits for session work include working with Sony-BMG,
Warners, EMI & independent labels.
AS are high-energy
& will entertain your guests with great music & stage presence.
Customers include The Grand Hyatt, Singapore (a 3-month residency in
1999), HSBC & Conran restaurant, Mezzo (Soho, London) where AS held
down a residency for five years (2000-2004). AS performs at numerous
wedding ceremonies & has played across the UK, plus international
performances in Greece & Corsica.
Line Up:
male & female vocal, sax and trumpet with drums, bass, keys
and guitar.
They
will
provide pa equipment,
lights and interval music played on a CD
in cases where there is no DJ.
