Metamorphous Saxophone Quartet There name
chosen to represent their versatility and dynamic range of
repertoire. This stunning line up of saxophones, from the soprano to
the baritone saxophone is perfect for Weddings, Corporate events,
parties and background music. The members of the quartet are made
up of those from Sax Drive.

Sax4all are a new group initiated by saxophonist Sarah Ings. The
group consists of rhythm section and six saxophones with the
occasional addition of marimba and multi percussion. This is truly
sensational sounds, an experience that should not be passed up.
Driven by Sarah Ings and Josie Simmons' creativity the group write
all their own music. Amongst the group they have a wide range of
influences. Their compositions consist of anything from classical
and jazz to minimalist works.
The group have just come off tour in Aberdeen where they
performed to an audience of 1,000 people. They were warmly welcomed.
Previous Venues have included Blackheath Halls, showcase at
Pacha London, coordinated by Student President, Sarah Ings and Vice
President James Southby, Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
VISION

Vision are a new and innovative group fusing jazz, classical and
pop music. This melting pot of musical genres creates an exciting
new sound world. Their versatility and repertoire always them to
adapt themselves for kids audiences and the more intellectual adult
audience. Performing in venues from schools to up and coming bars in
London.
Having toured the UK with Classic FM and Yamaha Vision are
looking for new ventures. They are available for festivals,
concerts, prize giving's, graduations... the list is endless.
Prior engagements include UK tour with Yamaha and Classic FM, NEC
Birmingham and the opening of the Hackney Empire,
audience with Prince Charles.
Brass10
This exciting and energetic
10-piece brass ensemble has been working together since 2001. Brass10
performs standard dectet repertoire, commissioned works, light music
and jazz. Successes include appearances at major music festivals and
concert venues throughout the UK and live broadcasts for BBC Radio
3.
The
individual members of Brass10
enjoy varied professional lives playing regularly with London’s
top orchestras Jazz bands as well as enjoying Early Music.
Brass10
has also commissioned many works from composers including Simon
Dobson, Maxwell Davies, Edwin McClarty and Luke Whitlock.
During
their 2002-2003 season, Brass10
performed at Buckingham Palace, St Martin-in-the-Fields and
Lincoln’s Inn Chapel in London. They have also played as part of
The Queen’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations, The Cheltenham Festival,
Two Moors Festival, Philip Biggs Brass Festival and Waterperry House
Arts Festival and have made numerous live broadcasts on BBC Radio 3.
Concerts
and Recitals form the basis of Brass10’s
regular work; however, they are also dedicated to education
workshops and ‘taster’ sessions
to allow school children to experience how brass instruments work
and sound. Members of Brass10
have substantial experience in educational work, having participated
in projects such as ‘LPO Playerlink Scheme’, ‘RPO Thames
Festival Projects’, ‘Britten Sinfonia’ and the ‘London
Sinfonietta’.
