Graduated from the Superior Institute of Art (Havana) in Guitar for which he was awarded a first-class honours degree, and also graduated a year early. Later he received lessons at the Royal College of Music with Carlos Bonell and Chris Stell.

Specialising in playing Cuban and Latin American guitar repertoire.

Performances include the Dublin Guitar Week, Ireland and Hispano American Guitar Festival of Tijuana, Mexico, the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art), the Bolivar Hall, the Victorian & Albert Museum, St George’s Bloomsbury, St. James’ Church  Piccadilly, Southwark Cathedral and the National Gallery.
