Thomas lavigne & João Loureiro

The Uno Guitar Duo was formed in 2002 by Thomas Lavigne and João Loureiro while studying at the Royal Academy of Music, London. There they benefited from coaching by Professor Michael Lewin and a masterclass with the famous Katona Twins. Thomas Lavigne is a French guitarist who has obtained the Gold Medal from the Superior Conservatoire of Paris and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music, London. João Loureiro finished his B mus Degree from the London College of Music and Media being awarded the British Reserve Strings Prize and as also a Postgraduate Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music, London The Duo as played several concerts in venues such as at the David Josefowitz Recital Hall, London, Bolivar Hall Seventh International Guitar Festival, St. George’s the Martyr Church and St Edmond’s Church.

Playing a range of Tango music including composers such as Astor Piazzolla, Manuel de Falla, Sergio Assad and Joaquin Rodrigo.
