Hawkes.
Chip's onstage charisma, and seductive appeal have not gone
unnoticed by HRH Prince Albert of Monaco and Roger Moore; she's had
them on the edge of their seats! Her musical and visual style has
been influenced by several years living in Paris and Monaco.
Available for hire at Private Functions, including corporate events,
wedding, birthdays etc; Chip is surrounded by truly exceptional
musicians from the London Jazz scene, Keyboard, Stand-up Bass, and
Drums.
Having recorded at London's 606 club; venues such as Claridges, The
Dorchester, The Savoy and The Natural History Museum have all
employed Chip's services as a class act in the most literal sense of
the word!
The
charismatic Chip Jenkins has recently had great success in the USA
and South America with a track on ABC Network.
She has
performed her brand of Funky Jazz in
Cannes,
Monte Carlo, Paris and London.
As well as recording with famous harmonica player Toots Thielemans
for the record label BMG New York;

shoulders with fellow Jazz singer Diana Krall,

has also performed alongside soul legend Gloria Gaynor.

The band is fully insured and works with a state-of-the-art PA
system made by BOSE which provides outstanding sound quality. They
can play varying performance times according to your requirements.
Normally this is 3 sets of 40 minutes or 2 sets of 1 hour. During
set breaks the band plays music using a laptop and the PA. It is
also possible to connect an i-pod to the PA, which can hold your
favourite music. All band members would appreciate a simple meal
before the start of their performance. |
