A graduate of the Guildhall School
of Music and Drama where she completed her
Bachelor of
Music and
Masters degree as a
scholarship student, studying with Professor
Susan McCulloch.
Margaret’s solo experience
includes the Bach Magnificat, Brahms Requiem, Handell Dixit Dominus,
Haydn Creation, Mozart C minor Mass, Mozart Requiem and the Douglas
Coombes Requiem. In September 2003 she sang the Mozart C Minor Mass
in performance with Sir David Willcocks and also sang the Mozart
Requiem and Handel Dixit Dominus in Rochester Cathedral. Recently
she sang the parts of Gabriel and Eve in a performance of ‘The
Creation’, Wolverhampton. She has performed the operatic roles of Poppea in Monteverdi’s ‘L’Incoronazione di Poppea’, Mercedes in
Bizet’s ‘Carmen’, Catherine in Offenbach’s operetta ‘Pomme D’Api’
and Mistress in the world premiere of ‘Ita Vivam’ by Christina
Athinodorou.
