Sarah is continuously inspired by the music that surrounds her, the musicians that she hears and those that she works with.

It is not unheard of that Sarah will hear a sound world of seducing harmonies and then set off on her way to write a new album or perform a series of concerts.

Her creativity and spontaneity has lead to projects with:

Phenonomen - seven saxophones, and rhythm section, led by Sarah Louise. Each memeber wrote or arranged a piece of music for the ensemble which led to a series of concerts in London and Aberdeen with a live recorded album. A true Phenonomen.

Sarah Louise Ings and Margaret Cooper - From Bach to the Latin quarter, a concert tour of the UK , performing works arranged by Sarah Louise for voice and saxophone. Inspired by Margarets' rich tones Sarah went onto arrange works for voice, sax, cello, piano and drum kit making full use of her ensemble.

Sarah Louise Ensemble - VISION has to be Sarah's favourite sound world of all. Writing and arranging for cello, sax, piano and percussion / drum kit. A crossover pool of classical, jazz and world music. Having met musicians across the world her influences are now being heavily influenced by Tango, Brazilian and Flamenco music.

Workshops - Music In Schools - VISION is now resident ensemble for Freya Beya Charity, taking interactive music into special needs schools. This is a fantastic project and very rewarding.

Sarah Louise Ings and Sally Davies - Sarah first met Sally on a rehearsal of her composition Anis, for three saxophones, choir and Bandir. They have since recorded Anis together for Release of Sarahs' Debut album.
